So, why join the HCA, and why did we start it?

As the three founders, we all have businesses in this industry, and we know how challenging it can be to get your company noticed. We all have limited budgets for marketing, and even if we use free marketing resources like social media and YouTube, they can be a full-time job on their own. So, with all members putting a small amount of money into a pot, we believe that alone, we can make a small dent, but together, we can explore more avenues, reach more clients, and make a bigger impact. GROUP ADVERTISING

Many companies face the challenge of reaching end clients while managing limited marketing budgets. Here's where HCA group advertising can be beneficial. Instead of individual businesses investing in separate marketing efforts, we pool a small portion of advertising revenue from members' yearly subscriptions to conduct group advertising. This includes promoting the Home Cinema Alliances website, social media feeds, Member Locator and placing advertisements with editorial content in client-facing publications.

YOUTUBE

If you run or have explored running a YouTube channel, you know consistency is the key to driving your platform and gaining followers. Regular uploads keep both YouTube and your subscribers happy. This, of course, can be challenging in an industry where we produce bespoke high-end Cinema Rooms. Using a philosophy similar to group advertising, we ask members to submit their content for us to display on the HCA Channel. “An image is worth a thousand words,” but some companies struggle with this. Building on years of experience developing the founding members' websites and social media accounts, we can assist HCA members with creating and promoting their creations. This starts with capturing photo and video work, then editing and creating bite-sized and full-length video content for promotion on their websites, social media, and YouTube. Are you not good with social media, or don’t you have a YouTube page? We can help.

HOUZZ

A popular platform for clients looking for inspiration for their property aspirations.  As an official Houzz affiliate, you can apply for the Home Cinema Alliance member badge on your Houzz profile and share pictures of your most excellent work via the shared projects folders.  By showing your projects on both your own Houzz profile and the Home Cinema Alliance profile, you’ll double your exposure to potential new customers.  Visit our Houzz page

Client facing exhibition

You know how stressful these can be if you have ever done a client-facing exhibition such as Grand Designs or the Homebuilding and Renovating Show. As a business owner, you must design, pay for, and staff the stand before one future client even visits the show. As an Alliance of Companies, the HCA uses the same ethos in group advertising and exhibiting. All member companies contribute a certain amount of money to a pot to pay for and build the exhibition stand. Each company can then send a representative to man the stand during the event's opening days and share in the client leads.
